Why are there barriers in front of my driveway before the road closures starts? Can I move them?
The affected roads will have barriers positioned alongside the roads to ensure the safety of the cyclists.
These barriers will be placed in position earlier than the start of the races due to the time it takes to put them in place, we apologies for any inconvenience this is causing.
Before 12.30 pm on Sunday 8 July – we ask that you will please make sure to replace the barriers if you need to move them for access in and out of your property.
From 12.30 pm on Sunday 8 July – please do not move these barriers to leave your property by car without supervision of a traffic marshal as this could cause serious accidents with fast racing cyclists.
