Town Centre Criterium Races

Races will take place from 13:35 to 17:50 in Wallingford Town Centre

What is a criterium race?  A bike race consisting of several laps around a closed circuit.

The Wallingford town centre circuit is 950m long and will be fully enclosed by barriers on both sides – our team will be putting out over a thousand barriers on the morning of the event and taking them down again in the evening. The racing will be highly competitive and we anticipate enthusiastic and noisy support from the expected crowds who will find plenty of attractions to entertain them.

Info for Riders

The course itself is 950 m long around the town centre involving several great corners along with plenty of width for overtaking. Field size will be restricted to 50 riders per race.

All races have cash prizes for the first 5 with medals for the top three plus a Trophy (on loan) for the winner of each race.

We will again use transponders.
